To the Northwest of the province of Burgos and bordering the Comunidad de Cantabria, are the Sedano and La Lora regions. They are among landscapes of moors, valleys and canyons, and it is one of the largest sets of dolmens of Europe.

They are places of collective burial in which the Neolithic individuals were deposited with its grave goods formed by ornaments and stone tools mainly.

In some of the dolmens the burial chamber, the passage to access to the chamber and the mound of soil and stones, which protected them from damage, can be seen.

'La Cabaña' dolmen has been declared Site of Cultural Interests.
