In the most southern sector of Tierra de Medina we find Fuente el Sol, a plain next to the Ramo stream. This village is dated in the high middle ages, but of which there is no reliable evidence until the XIII century. It is recognized for its graves, church and certainly its castle, which belongs to the architectural style developed in Valladolid. There is evidence of its construction at the end of the XV century, built by order of Alvaro de Bracamonte.

A castle with rectangular floor and with solid round turrets in three of its corners and the keep tower in the remaining, keeping half of its height, but still showing the memory of what once was and represented.
