In the town of Isar, it is thought the family of the Manriques built a palace as fortress which was attributed to Juan Fernandez Manrique.

The tower is located between the riverbed of the Hormazuelas and the riverbed of the mill, just 100 meters from the town centre. It has a rectangular structure with walls four meters of height and ashlar corners, and the rest is of excellent masonry, which keeps in its walls the pass of different times that have left their trace. It is supposed that there was a moat and a drawbridge which are today covered by lush vegetation.
