In the urban area is the so-called ‘Casa Nueva’ or fortified house, which belonged to the married couple of Pedro Ruiz Beñe and Maria Fernandez de Rueda. It had its own chapel, which was even their pantheon and where still remain their shields. It remained the property of the family until it finished in the hands of the family Madrazo Escalera. The tower was built in the early XVI century. The access was in the first floor, crossing through a pointed arch.

Tower with a square floor, on whose door stood a balcony with an arch made of one piece. It was built in good ashlar, mixing different materials, what shows rests of its pass along different times.
