This region, lying in the north-east of the province of Soria, conceals a valuable legacy dating back to prehistoric times: traces of the dinosaurs, which visitors can discover on this fascinating ancient route that takes in towns such as Oncala or Villar del Río.

The landscape of Soria’s uplands is also the perfect setting for a visit to the Romanesque Tower of Yanguas or the Chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Peña in San Pedro Manrique, an 18th century work that still stands on this attractive route that enables visitors to discover the region’s most emblematic monuments.

This route includes the following sites of interest: the Chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Peña, the Parish Church of San Pedro Manrique and the Church of San Pedro el Viejo, all situated in San Pedro Manrique; the Church of San Millán, the Tapestry Museum and the Shepherds’ Museum, in Oncala; San Miguel Tower, the Church of Santa María and the Yanguas Religious Art Museum; the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora del Vado and the Villar del Río Palaeontology Centre; and the Church of San Martín in Magaña.
