A region marked out by the course of Bernesga, Torio and Curueño Rivers that allows visitors to lose themselves in stunning natural landscapes, enjoy active tourism in towns such as Vegacervera or discover a Romanesque treasure: the church of Santa Maria de Arbas. Also not to be missed along the way is the Valporquero Cave, together with the vast beech wood to be found in Faedo de Ciñera.
The route comes to an end in the chilly areas of Luna and Omaña, whose built and environmental heritage will tempt tourists to stop in the small towns and villages and visit the local museums.
Other sites of interest on this route include the chapel of Entresierras in Olleros de Alba, the shrine of El Buen Suceso in Huergas, the noble houses featuring their coats-of-arms in Villamanín, the Shepherds’ Museum in Barrios de Luna, Ordas Tower in Santa Maria de Ordas and the chapel of La Virgen del Manadero in Piedrasecha.
