Soria boasts more than 300 examples of Romanesque architecture, which means visitors are never far from one of these architectural jewels to be found in many of the province’s towns and villages, proud to safeguard the treasures that are today included on routes such as this.
After exploring the city of Soria, home to multiple examples of the Romanesque style including major constructions such as the Concathedral of San Pedro, which conserves the cloister built in this style, tourists can go on to admire many other examples in towns such as San Esteban de Gormaz, Montejo de Tiermes, Castillejo de Robledo or El Burgo de Osma, as well as in Almazán, the site of several of Castilla y León’s most interesting temples.
