An exceptional route to discover the early Christian temples in the province of Palencia, which, although few and far between, still conserve a rich historic and artistic heritage.

Underneath Palencia Cathedral visitors can visit the Visigoth crypt of San Antolín, and, after a stroll around the city admiring its principal landmarks, the route continues in other towns such as Baños de Cerrato, where the highlights include the Church of San Juan Bautista or San Juan de Baños, declared a National Monument and one of the oldest Visigoth basilicas in the Iberian Peninsula.

This route also includes the following sites of interest: in Palencia, the Church of Santa Clara, the Church of San Miguel, Palencia Provincial Council House, the Convent Church of San Francisco en El Cordón House; and in Baltanás the Cerrato Castellano Museum.
