A route paved with history
La Puebla de Arganzon
Situated in the north-east of the province of Burgos, the current town dates back to the 17th century and the days of the repopulation policy instigated by Alphonse VIII.
Lying on the Bayonne Way, one of the Pilgrim’s Routes to Santiago, it boasts a medieval layout that was common in the 12th century. Highlights include several historic sites, including the walled area that runs along the River Zadorra, set against a magnificent natural backdrop. This is a place where the beauty of history and nature converge to form a delightful setting.
