It was known to have existed in the 13th century although nothing remains from that era.It belonged to the Order of the Premostratenses and the oldest part of its architecture dates from the 16th century.

Two parts of two parts: the Iglesia de San Blas, belonging to the Church but inside the land of the present owners, is noteworthy for its principal façade built in 1590 crowned with an 18th century spire; and the other part corresponds to the living quarters of the monastery occupied by its present owners, where there is a cloister built in the 18th century under the auspices of Don Juan de Sagarvinaga.
