Monastery of Santa Maria
Founded in 1168 by Doña Sancha de Frías.Premonstratense, of Romanesque style. Reformed successively until the 16th century. Church is a notable example of Romanesque architecture. Three stages can be appreciated in its construction:- Beginning of the 12th century- Beginning of the 13th century- From the 16th century(choir, and the roof over the transept).
