The temple, Romanesque from the XII century, has a single nave with pointed barrel vaults and square apse, unusual for the area, but due to the apparent fortitude of character building.

The brickwork is of masonry petite dark stone slabs on the walls and somewhat stronger in the corners.

The east wall is extended to form the belfry, while the other three sides are crowned by very broad merlons (rectangular prismatic crenels), pierced by loopholes oriented north.
