Built in the middle of the 12th century together with the Cathedral, and from this time it preserves the decoration of the cover. Its interior has been reformed in centuries and later styles. It was ordered to be built by Doña Sancha Raimúndez, daughter of Queen Urraca and sister of Alfonso VII, to commemorate the passing through Zamora of the relics of San Isidoro de Sevilla on their transfer to León, which had happened in 1062.
