Built in the last quarter of the 12th and in the early 13th centuries. Single vaulted nave, with two sections and a higher transept, a semicircular apse chapel and a straight stretch corresponding to the presbytery.

The structure and decoration of the apse and the two aedicule on both sides of the transept is remarkable. The iconography, both inside and outside, is one of the most personal, unusual and surprising of all the Burgos Romanesque edifices. Mysterious scenes, fantastic beings, original vegetal themes and diverse fabulous animals form part of a complex corpus of difficult interpretation.
