Construction began in the 12th century and went on until the 16th century.

Romanesque church with a Latin cross ground plan and five apses. It contains Gothic sculptures and the oldest parts are decorated with leaf lines and zigzagging pillars.

The outside door are decorated with several motifs, such as the Evangelists (south door) and human figures in general.
