The Romanesque set of buildings would be replaced in the XVI century, after the collapse that occurred in the year 1520. Then, a new church was built, keeping the Romanesque cloister, although a part of it disappeared. It is considered one of the best Spanish Romanesque cloisters due to its architectural proportions and for its sculptural pieces, in which oriental and Muslim influences can be seen.
