Romanesque 12th-century shrine dedicated to the first bishop of Avila, follower of the apostle James.

Made of sandstone and granite, its north façade has round archivolts decorated with beadings and rosettes. On each side there are two columns with chapters decorated with figures of people, animals and plants. It has a 16th-century alabaster praying statue of the saint by Juan de Juni. The 16th-century altarpiece has an image of the saint in the middle. There are two other sculptures in niches and the rest of the streets and bodies are paintings.
