In 2019 the congregation of Poor Clares left the convent, which has been restructured as a Museum of Medieval Painting. The lower choir, the church, the cloister, the upper choir and the convent tower were transformed into museum spaces.

In the lower choir you can see the mural paintings, the oldest ones from the late 13th century and others more recent from the 14th century.

The magnificent main altarpiece that presides over the church is by Joaquín de Churriguera. In the upper choir we can see works from the convent itself as well as contributions from the Úrsulas or the Poor Clares of Ciudad Rodrigo.

Some platforms on the baroque vault of the church allow access to the original mudéjar roof, with interesting heraldic polychrome.

From the top of the tower, through the lattices, you can see a beautiful view of the cathedrals and the convent of San Esteban.
