The museum dates from 1 march 1899 and attempts to gather together and preserve documents, weapons and objects which perpetuate the victories and memory of the Spanish cavalry.

Remarks: The visits must be arranged in advance by sending the form on the website of the Academy or by filling one that can be collected at the door of the Paseo de Zorrilla. They are always for groups of more than 10 people, all visits are guided and free, not recommended for people with reduced mobility because during their route there are several flights of stairs. Open from Monday to Friday not public holidays in the morning. It is possible to arrange a visit on most Fridays through the Valladolid Tourist Office, in which case it usually charges € 1 per visitor for management costs of the office.
