The area known as ‘Campo Charro’ is home to Salamanca’s famous pasturelands, a unique ecosystem that is well worth a visit and inhabited by the region’s fighting bulls. Here they are born, bred and instilled with their fighting spirit. Salamanca provides travellers and bullfighting aficionados with the chance to see and learn about the various herds of livestock, offering a range of activities related to these noble animals.
Numerous country festivals are held in the area, accompanied by local wines and the province’s famous cured meats. Visitors can also attend a small bullfight or enjoy a horse ride against a backdrop of stunning natural scenery.
