No visitor to the town of Guijuelo in Salamanca will be able to resist the chance to savour the intense of aroma and flavour of the authentic local ham, one of the most highly-appreciated delicacies of Castilla y León’s rich gastronomy.

This exquisite delicacy, produced using traditional methods and a meticulous curing process, comes from the Iberian pigs born and bred on the vast pasturelands of Guijuelo and the nearby towns in the province of Salamanca. The hams hold a Designation of Origin.
