Reservoir of Arlanzon
This dam, recently modernized, is located in the Arlanzón river, and was built in the early 30s and has a height, from its foundations, slightly higher than the 47 meters. In its waters almost all sports, except motor navigation, are allowed.
In the closeness of this reservoir, near the town of Ibeas de Juarros, the archaeological site, that possibly be the most important in Spain: the Atapuerca, is there, so the Arlanzón reservoir area has a great tourist attraction. The greenway of the Sierra de la Demanda runs beside it.
