Settlement from the 7th century B.C. to the 3rd century A.D. One of the oldest pre-Roman iron-age settlements in the province. Located on the left-hand side of the river Adaja, within the municipal borough of Cardeñosa, and with a surface area of 14.5 hectares.

Located in a high place that acts as a natural defence and is also protected with walls, moats and cut-stone fields.

Archaeological classroom of Castro de las Cogotas

It is a teaching classroom with reproductions of the Vetton culture. The history of various excavations in the fort, from the XIX century to today, allows us to know all the discoveries made.
