The real treasures of the cathedral are centred around the Sala Capitular and in the chapels which lead up to the cloister
Cathedral Museum
The Capillas de Santiago and San Juan will house more than 170 paintings, gold and silverware, sculptures and tapestries.
The treasures of the cathedral are displayed in both chapels and include the chalice donated by the Condestable de Castilla, a relic cross from the eleventh century, of Byzantine origin (which according to tradition was worn on the chest of the first Conde de Castilla, Fernán González).
