Presents the culture of wine of Ribera del Duero
Provincial Museum of Wine
Located in the castle of Peñafiel, it includes exhibitions and winemaking, ethnographic and historical aspects associated with wine and the history of the castle.
The Museum takes a tour by The Vine, where are shown its parts, grain, grape variety, soils, climate, pruning and grafting, wineries and types of presses are also shown, bottling and labeling, as well as trades as wineskin maker, cooper, basket maker, glazier, cork maker... The traveler will also find, how was the wine in the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the early modern period.
