Single-nave church with three chapels. It has a Moorish coffered ceiling of the 15th century with laced decoration. Built on the site of the old Hospital de Villafranca. Don Pedro Álvarez de Toledo, the Marquis of Villafranca, undertook several reforms in the 15th century: he had the sepulchres of his family installed inside the church. The Franciscan community had to abandon the convent, which was then used as military barracks under María Cristina.

The seats of the choir date from the 16th century. The altarpiece is Churrigueresco. The main chapel contains graves.
