Originally romanesque, with three naves of the 16th century and a transept. The apse dates from the 14th century. It has a cloister of the 14th century which preserves three of the original galleries and a Mudejar coffered ceiling. The base of the military-looking tower is all the remains of the original Romanesque structure.

Three sides of the original Gothic cloister have been preserved. They have paired columns, and a Mudejar ceiling, with rests of fresco paintings. The Capilla de Santa Ana contains the Renaissance sepulchres of Don Juan de Castro Mújica and Don Diego de Mújica.
