One of the best examples of the Romanesque-Mudejar style in the province of Valladolid. Built in the 13th century, with brick and masonry. Three narrow and high naves.

There is a remarkable Baroque altarpiece, without any hint of painting or colouring. The single-section tower was built in 1782, an independent chapel, devoted to the Virgen de la Soterraña, was built in the 18th century. The far end of the church was disrupted, the main altar was raised and a crypt was built underneath.
