This Mudejar-Gothic church was reformed in the 17th and 18th centuries. The red-brick apse contains the frescoes. It consists of three rows of blind arches built between the 13th and 14th centuries.

It contains discovered gothic mural paintings. The niche of the Virgen del Carmen is covered by an original baroque plasterwork cupola with mexican influences.
