The temple was built under the patronage of the Dukes of Béjar in the XVI century, in a Renaissance style. It has a single nave, which is covered with half barrel vault and lunettes, and a high-rise tower.

It is remarkable the iconographic program of the facade; built with stone. It is decorated with busts and heraldic emblems of the patrons of the temple, the Dukes of Béjar, symbolizing their virtues and values
