Stones with legends to tell
Castle of Corullon
The present crenellated tower was built on the remains of a previous structure.
Above the elevated entry gate of the tower there are two coats of arms: the cross of Saint Andrew on the left represents Inés Fernández de Telmer; the four sticks on the right represent her husband, Garci Rodriguez de Valcárcel. It once belonged to the Álvarez-Osorio family and then to the Marquis of Villafranca.
