The tower of the Santo Tomás church is located at the foot of his nave. It was built in two phases: the first, between 1606 and 1616, when the first two bodies were built, and the second, between 1620 and 1638, corresponding to the three upper ones made of brick, with cornices and imposts of the same material. The number of spans in each body is greater as it rises, giving the whole a great lightness, visible from a great distance. In the 20th century, a dome, a sculpture and a perimeter finish were added.
