The town of El Cubo de Don Sancho is defined by the space between the Huebra River and the Saucera stream. Its castle and medieval church stand out, the first one is the place where the Town Hall of the municipality is located nowadays. It is a late medieval majestic tower, supposedly belonging to the Marquis of Cerralbo. Of rectangular floor and ashlars, it is supposed to be built in the late XIV century and early XV.

Its appearance is very changed both on the outside and its inner due to the improvements made, preserving a machicolation to defense the access on one of its sides. It is a three-floor tower built with granite, with cloths of masonry in other times, where the gateway is today.
