Once again, Alba de Tormes surprises us with this magnificent building highlighted for its church. A convent founded by the Tercera Orden de San Francisco, giving it the name of Isabeles, its principal Saint. Its oldest part is the church, since it was Aldonza Ruiz de Barrientos who rushed the construction, important woman for the work, who bequeathed all her inheritance to the convent after widowed and wanted to rest there after her death. She spent her last years in the convent.

The temple consists of two well different parts, the chapel, of semi hexagonal apse, roofed with ribbed vaults and the nave, with Renaissance decorations that make think about dating from the second half of the XVI century, which closes with a parhilera framework and to whose feet is the low and high double choir. It also highlights a small burial chapel enriched with sculptural decoration.
