The province of Soria preserves one of the most important pine forest masses on the Iberian Peninsula, an immense green lung around which an ancestral way of life, a defined culture and an important wealth-generating activity have developed.

The Bosque del Amogable Classroom is located in the heart of the pine forests that surround the town of Navaleno with the aim of highlighting the forest heritage of Castile and León, emphasizing the concept that the forest is the meeting point between living beings and nature.

The first room shows the most outstanding environmental aspects of the region, both in flora and fauna and its leading role within the great diversity that characterizes the natural environment of Castile and León.

Thanks to the perfectly differentiated spaces in which the panels provide complete information, the importance of forest conservation as a source of renewable resources is valued, as well as how they influence different ways of life and the generation of wealth.

None of this would be possible without good forest management and that is what is presented in the next room, including the management of the forests, silvicultural treatments, as well as the machinery necessary for greater efficiency.

The experience can be completed with a tour along the Engineer's Path to understand on the ground the concepts presented in the Forest House.
