Church of Santa María del Azogue
The church displays the various artistic styles through which it has passed since its construction began in the 12th century. The Latin cross plan and the head respond to the Romanesque style, with five beautiful apses and three covers. In the decoration motifs and in the distribution of its apses, a clear Cistercian influence is observed. The exterior doors are decorated with various motifs, both the Evangelists on the south door with the theme of "Agnus Dei" or mystic lamb, and human figures in general.
Inside are various altarpieces and sculptures of great value. Stresses a Virgin with Child, Romanesque carving, and above all, the Annunciation ensemble, made of polychrome stone, probably in the thirteenth century.
