It was built with stone and brick in the 16th century and renovated in the 19th century (when its beautiful coffered ceilings disappeared, only the Mudejar coffered ceilings of the church of San Primitivo and San Facundo were preserved). Inside, the Renaissance-style Main Altarpiece stands out, made by Francisco Giralte

The museum inside presents a narrative discourse organized in three blocks. The first of them takes us into the history of the town from the first settlers, referring to the periods of greatest economic and artistic peak. The second section is the broadest and is made up of a large group of works of art, mainly sculptures, which will help us understand the importance that the Church has had for the people of these lands. Finally, the third block includes a good sample of pieces of jewelery.
