Museum of the Canal de Castilla
The Museum offers a wide green area outside, at the foot of the canal, where the remains of shipyards which allowed the construction and repair of the 400 boats that plough the canal in late XIX century are preserved. The museum contents have been sized so as all audiences can enjoy knowing the canal and natural and heritage values associated with it.
A virtual character, the engineer Juan Bautista de Homar, director of canal works until 1806, is in charge of guiding the visitor in the museum.
