This reservoir is the one that manages the Duero river in its header. It is located a few kilometers from the capital of Soria, surrounded by pine forests at the foot of the peaks of Urbión, its tourism attraction is highlighted, especially during the summer, when you can enjoy the beaches created along its coast.

It was finished in 1941, is also known it as La Muedra reservoir and its surroundings are ideal for many sports, including water ones, which have its highest expression in the place called Playa Pita, the official beach of Soria.
