Carmen Martín Gaite cultivated almost every literary genre, but perhaps her least known facet is that of a poet. Her poems came to her in bursts; therefore, we begin with the work of José Teruel in his recent anthology, among other sources, to explore the life and poetic work of this author from Salamanca, weaving together her poems.

Two professors, Rocío Martín Martín and M Esther Sánchez Hernández, enthusiasts of literature, poetry, and curiosities and anecdotes, will participate.

Mª Esther Sánchez Hernández holds a PhD in Audiovisual Communication and is a singer and rhapsodist. She specializes in genres and comedy and has worked in production for the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Pentación Espectáculos, and Artimaña Producciones. She has also taught literature and storytelling. She is currently a full-time teacher in the Vocational Training program in the field of Image and Sound. She enjoys writing, reciting, teaching, and researching.

Rocío Martín Martín is a teacher and journalist. She has worked as director of Estudios Roma and is currently a professor of Language and Literature at the IES Lucía de Medrano and in the Language Department of the University of Burgos. As a broadcaster, she has collaborated with Radio Ecca, TV Canarias, Channel 8's La Lengua Desatada, and Canal Arte's Invitation au Voyage, among others. A restless, curious, and professional woman, she enjoys constant learning, sports, and sharing anecdotes.
