Martyrial Church of Marialba de la Ribera
It is one of the most important Early Christian monuments. It is dated from the late Roman times from the IV to V centuries.
Several structural phases can be identified. The first building was composed of a large longitudinal nave which is topped by an apse in an ultra semicircular way. Later the church is provided of huge structures to hold the roof, probably a vault or dome. More lately, to the VI and VII centuries, a baptistery to baptize by immersion was attached to the main building.
