Deserted area of Peña Amaya
This set of great landscape beauty, is a small plateau crag in the region of Las Loras, whose main platform is 1200 meters in height and 1370 in the summit.
Their roots sink in the first occupation of the crag, from the Bronze Age, and later the visit and settlement of the Celtic, Roman, Visigoth and Muslim cultures, which left countless remains of high historical and cultural value.
You can nowadays visit the trenches to access to the fort, the ruins of a medieval village and the remains of the walls and castle that was on the summit.
