A big surprise awaits us outside of the town of Almazan. A convent, what remains of it, the place that saw the final moments of the very same Tirso de Molina.

Although it has lost much of its original being, in the Convent of Nuestra Señora de la Merced we can still observe a spectacular main façade, a stunning façade of the XVII century, with two columns attached to each side, and a split frontal topped with balls. In the center part we find the coat of arms of the Mercedarians. The rest allows us to guess what is missing, but the time has only left as a memory this part as a sign of what it was.
