In Hinestrosa is the tower, or castle, which was used, for a short period of time, as residence, is related to the family of Los Castros from Galicia. One of his descendants, Iñigo de Acuña, marquis of Escalona, possessed the tower in 1679

The tower is built with a good masonry based in porous stone. It has a square floor, of eight meter sideways, and barely shows openings in its masonry walls, a hipped roof, with corners topped at pinnacles. Its access was crossing a door which was in the first floor. Today it is well preserved, for the quality of its materials, having been used as straw loft and dovecote.
