In the village of Paralacuesta, next to the church a tower was raised. It is dated in the XVI century, belonging to the family Quintano, located in the neighborhood of Arriba. It is a squared tower with much differentiated hollows, some squared and others pointed. It retains also a mullioned window, some lintelled windows and other similar to loopholes.

This tower was destroyed in a fire and restored completely at the end of the XX century, which today allows us to see it in a perfect state of conservation.
