Tower of Villasana
We can carry back its origin to the final years of the XIII century or beginning of the XIV, time in which, probably following the order of Sancho Sánchez de Velasco, a member of the lineage of the Velasco, the construction of a wall that surrounded the medieval village of Villasana took place.
Its walls have the same thickness (1.40 m) from the bottom to up, element that it confirms the primitive character of the construction, previous to XIV century. It was the material symbol of the manor which was instituted in the village de Villasana in the second half of XIII century, and which remained in effect until the first half of the century XIX.
