It has already become one of the major festivals of Classical Theatre at national and international level; it meets every July over a dozen productions represented on an exceptional outdoors stage: the Corrala (permanent theatre in a courtyard) of the Palace del Caballero, and on a unique backdrop such as the walls of the town of Olmedo, a place which Lope de Vega placed on the map of literature thanks to his work 'El caballero de Olmedo'.

During the festival are also celebrated, in addition to theatrical performances, some international conferences of which are part experts and theatergoers, who share experiences and concerns of performing arts.
