An 8-kilometer circular path that runs along wide, well-marked paths, through practically flat terrain that does not present any technical difficulties. The starting and returning point of the PRC-VA 38 is the Puente Blanca Recreational Area in the municipality of Íscar, about 2.5 km east of the urban area of Íscar, next to the VP-1102 highway. The trail runs through the interfluve located between the valley of the Cega River and the Pirón River, crossing a forest mass of stone pine ( Pinus pinea ) and resin pine ( Pinus pinaster ) with the presence of holm oaks ( Quercus ilex ), which appear arranged on an aeolian blanket of sand.

Leaving the Puente Blanca Recreational Area we cross the Pirón River next to the road and then reach the fork in the trail, with two possibilities of completion. We can choose to continue in a N-NW direction, continuing close to the course of the Pirón River and its band of riverside vegetation, which we leave on our left. We passed through the Pirón Dam and then, after traveling about 3.5 km from the beginning, we arrived near the mouth of the Pirón River with the Cega River. During this first section of the trail next to the Pirón River we find various explanatory panels of great educational interest, which will help us understand the importance of the traditional exploitation of the forest (resin, wood and pine nuts) in the economic activity of these pine forest regions. We turn progressively to the right, heading east, and travel a short stretch of about 700 meters just above the escarpment that the Cega River has carved on its left bank. Later we turn right to take a long straight line of 2.5 km in a southeast direction, along a path next to a pine forest firebreak that will take us back to the Pirón bridge and the recreational area from which we started.
