The parish church of Trescasas, dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, is located next to the old Vera de la Sierra ravine. It was built by impulse and desire of Carlos III, under the direction of José Díaz Gamones and Agustín García, between 1774 and 1788. It is a sober neoclassical building, both in plan and externally the church responds to neoclassical schemes, however the treatment of its interior is within the classicist baroque derived from the works of Ventura Rodriguez.
