On September 26, on the eve of Saint Toribio's day, the most representative and massive running of the bulls of the festivities in his honor takes place. Running of the bulls, in the Mayorga style, of which we are certain that they were already held in the town since 1503, which makes them one of the oldest and most deeply rooted in our region.

During the afternoon and along the long Calle Derecha, Mayorga's main artery that concentrates some of its main attractions, 4 utreros-novillos accompanied by 2 oxen or tame will run for its 800 meters. They will be incited by the young men and women who with their traditional town boards and their careers will slow them down.

The cattle are kept in the corrals so that they rest alternately and be able to enjoy a better development of the celebration and better conditions of the animals, in the nearly 2 hours that the confinement lasts.
